Mars in Taurus is going to be fucking with my Scorpio stellium...but it is a transit through my career/public sphere, so money been on my mind. Taurus is about money as a security resource & access to pleasure. How do we make money? How does it feel? What does money MEAN to you? How do we make more? Mars hunts, makes shit happen, works for passion. So it's a transit to dig into (Taurus is earth).
I've been thinking about money & magic...what is the realistic work-to-magic ratio for lower class/cash poor folx like myself? I'm not buying the Law of Attraction as much these days...but I do believe in magic, in focus. We gotta put the work in. But when is it enough? Do you have what you need? Please know it's okay to ask for support. It's okay to ask for what you need. And it's okay to stop everything to get it, to make it happen. Taurus is really concerned with having enough to not just survive, but thrive...where are you on that spectrum & how does it feel?
So Mars, god of war, is asking us- WHAT'S YOUR NEXT MOVE?
Mars in Aries had us start shit, remember who we are and what we got to give. Taurus wants that grounded in slow but steady action. Taurus is always willing to work hard to survive...yet there's also a tendency towards prioritizing pleasure when they feel they've earned it...and they can get stuck there (fixed earth sign).
But let's talk about Taurus more deeply. Venus is the active agent (ruler) of Taurus. Venus is out to get what Taurus needs. So what does Taurus need? Security, stability, grounding, self-love...so Venus accesses those needs through values (knowing what's important to Taurus), resource (providing the foundation), & relationships (conduits for self-love). Taurus is very self-sufficient, at it's healthiest. Over-reliant at it's most toxic. Then there's the in-between space of being able to receive what they need from others while prioritizing meeting their needs/creating resource themselves.
The word "succulent" just came to mind, thinking of Taurus. It is an earth sign, infusing Venus with sensual, mama earth goddess attitude. Succulents, self-reliant & resilient. Grounded & able to soak up water (resource) when they need it. That's Taurus.
