Yesterday morning (9:58AM EDT) was the New Moon + Solar Eclipse in Pisces. Tons of Neptune energy in the sky with Mercury & Neptune itself in Pisces too. Pisces, ruled by Neptune, is about the ethereal, spiritual, dreamworld, unconscious & tragically lovely. This can be an overwhelming yet enthralling energy to be in- all the feelers are out, otherworldly senses are heightened, & everything seem more in sync & a little more bittersweet than usual.
I woke up (aka forced myself out of Sunday morning sleep-in) to play with my Tarot cards & write intentions. Let it be known that I rarely do this. That three job hustle has me struggling to juggle. Anyways, I found myself having extra clarity around things that are usually a little untouchable (Pisces) for me. I have natal moon in Pisces so I knew I needed to get into this Eclipse. Take advantage of the portal into seeing the unseen.
This portal opened up in my sphere of relationships, collaborations, commitments (7th house). I find myself owning aspects of myself I usually underplay & realizing how my relationship to relationships has changed & has to in order for me to operate fluidly. Also, opportunities (new moon/eclipse) for collaborating have been coming at me all month.
This portal to other worlds, to your next world, is still open; Eclipse energy is available for at least a week before & after. There is a lot of debate around exactly how long; some say months, some say weeks. Here's a bit of my mermaid musings on this Eclipse from my Monthly Astral Support emails:
Solar Eclipses are like new moons on steroids. Clarity/beginnings come, and they come fast. This is of course dependent on your own receptivity- consider the gates open. What do you want to receive? What would you like to see become?
Of course it is a Dark Moon (moon not visible) before the crescent births again, a time when we rest, release, cleanse, and prepare to begin. Solar Eclipses are different from Lunar Eclipses (like the one we just had in Leo) in that they signify “life changes”, rather than internal (lunar) revelations. Think of Solar as a more external expression of the evolution eclipses bring.
Pisces is the end of everything, the last sign in the zodiac. Pisces is multitudes and surrender, power and transcendence. You might know exactly what needs to change, and be willing to follow the flow (Pisces is all about flow). Or you may feel overwhelmed, foggy, wanting to escape/space out. Or a mixture of both. Pisces is paradoxical. Life is paradoxical.
For all this ethereal yet real as fuck vibe, there was tension in the sky. Still is. Aries is active as hell with Mars (warrior), Venus (goddess), & Uranus (revolutionary) all in the fire sign. Jupiter being in Libra means that we are working between being radical af with individual energy, self-love, and collective change (Aries vibe) & expanding our capacity for authentic relationship. The trick is to do both & find where our personal freedom intersects with social justice.
On an interpersonal level, this translates as being assertive of our agency knowing that this will allow us more discernment on how to create & receive expansive relationships.
So, you still have time to get into the Pisces realm- dream, mediate, play, pray- & see what you want to come next for you. While still doing the work of being & growing. Don't get escapist- trust yourself, trust your access to intuition. And if you need support, I'm here.
